![]() Interesting note: “The group is using religion to justify the terrorizing and extorting of the poor, defenseless people of the countryside.” One of my big complaints last season was we didn’t see the rise of the Sparrow religion in the countryside that drove the rise to power of the High Sparrow in King’s Landing. Japeth: “The lieutenant of the outlaw band.” A “rough-and-ready type” with a strong physical presence. “Lachlan is set to appear in two episodes during Season 6.”įlynn: “Part of an outlaw band,” so the easy guess is he’s attached to Lachlan, especially since it’s mentioned he’s also in two episodes. Lachlan: “Leader of a band of renegades who’ve turned on the land they swore to protect” who “now extort the poor and vulnerable.” This matches up with some of the other suggestions in the last casting call that we’ll be heading back out into the Riverlands to see the aftermath of war, and the cutthroat dog eat dog behavior of people desperate for supplies as Winter arrives. Described as “young warriors” and “tall and confident, with swagger and linguistic bravado.” Oh and “the actors will have to speak a fictional language.” Totally Dothraki from the khalasar Dany’s just been surrounded by Qhogo and Akrat: “Mixed ethnicity or other non-white actors.” Dothraki? With names like that? Dothraki. Those who do not have names (we assume) are characters we would recognize. Unlike last time, some of these characters actually have names attached–notably characters who are not anyone we’ve met in the books (at least, not yet) which means that they are meaningless to us. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() We’ve got another round of casting calls to dig through from Monday, procured as usual from whoever the mole is that reports to WOTW. Once again, I’ve been so busy writing about Game of Thrones news for my supper (spoiler alert: Jon Snow, really dead), I haven’t had to the time to write about it for myself over here. ![]()
